A Child’s Christmas In Wales

Some years ago a dear friend knowing my interest in literature, writing, and all things Christmas gave me a special gift that continues to give and go beyond. My friend Kathryn’s gift was Dylan Thomas’s A Child’s Christmas in Wales. I have read it more than once every Christmas season since with more appreciation and delight.

This seemed the perfect year and time to share this enchanting story again. I was delighted to find an improved audio of Dylan Thomas narrating his own writing. A particular treat, indeed, as his soul and the sound of his Welch accent vibrate one to a transported place.

His story has inspired artwork through the years which our technology now avails with relative ease. Many of you know of my passion for the integration of language and visualization making this sharing all the more special.
